This Terms of Service agreement outlines the rules, responsibilities, and obligations for the use of LunarHost's services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms.
1. Acceptable Use
Users may only use LunarHost services for lawful purposes. Any activity that violates local, national, or international laws is strictly prohibited. This includes but is not limited to DDoS attacks, hacking attempts, distribution of malware, phishing, spamming, hosting illegal content, or engaging in unauthorized crypto mining. Abuse of system resources in a way that impacts other users is also not allowed.
2. Account Security
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials, including usernames, passwords, and API keys. LunarHost is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from unauthorized access due to weak security practices. Users must notify us immediately if they suspect any unauthorized use of their account.
3. Payments & Billing
All services are billed in advance based on the selected billing cycle. Failure to complete payment before the due date may result in suspension or termination of services. Prices are subject to change with prior notice. Refunds, if applicable, are governed by our refund policy and are issued at our discretion unless otherwise stated.
4. Service Availability
While LunarHost strives to maintain maximum uptime and performance, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Scheduled maintenance, hardware failures, or unforeseen issues may result in temporary downtime. We are not responsible for any loss of data, revenue, or business caused by such interruptions.
5. Resource Usage
Users must use server resources (CPU, RAM, disk, bandwidth) within reasonable limits. Excessive usage that negatively impacts the stability or performance of our infrastructure or other clients may result in warnings, throttling, or suspension of services. Dedicated resources must still comply with fair usage standards unless explicitly stated otherwise.
6. Termination & Suspension
LunarHost reserves the right to suspend or terminate services at any time, without prior notice, if a user violates these terms. In severe cases, accounts may be permanently banned. Users may also cancel their services at any time; however, no refunds will be issued for unused time unless explicitly covered under a refund policy.
7. Modifications to Terms
LunarHost reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes through appropriate channels such as email or dashboard announcements. Continued use of our services after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
